Wood Smoke Complaint Tips

When making wood smoke complaints, remember the following tips:

  • For your convenience, you may use the online complaint form or call 1-877-4NO-BURN. Information provided will be directly uploaded into our wood smoke complaint system.
  • If possible have the correct address of the alleged source so informational materials can be mailed out to help prevent repeat violations.
  • Only one complaint is needed to place the alleged address in the wood smoke complaint system. Multiple complaints on the same address are not required.
  • Other helpful information is the time the wood smoke typically occurs, whether it is burning is intermittent, or constant for longer periods of time, and how long you have been experiencing the problem.
