The District’s Air Monitoring Network includes two portable air monitoring stations. These stations are placed in communities of interest for one to two years in order to compare local air measurements with those obtained by the agency’s monitoring network

Mobile Vehicles and Equipment

The District has been working with the California Air Resources Board to reduce the emission of smog-forming pollutants and toxics from mobile sources. These include both on and off-road sources such as trucks, buses, heavy-duty construction equipment and recreational vehicles.
