Pre-Certification

An equipment vendor/manufacturer or end-user may submit a written request to pre-certify equipment for the purpose of qualifying for the Accelerated Permit Program. A pre-certification request shall include all of the following:

  • A complete description of the equipment, including make, model number, rated capacity and emission calculations at maximum operating rate,
  • Applicable Best Available Control Technology (BACT) requirements,
  • Proposed permit conditions governing operation of the source, and
  • Applicable fees.
