Internal Combustion Engine Requirements

All stationary internal combustion engines larger than 50 hp must:

Obtain a BAAQMD Permit to Operate

And if it is a diesel engine, comply with the BAAQMD-administrated Statewide Air Toxics Control Measure (ATCM) for Stationary Diesel Engines (Portable engines are exempt from the stationary ATCM)
