Mr. Erin Garner holds a B.A. Degree in Geology from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster PA; he is a registered Professional Geologist and Certified Hydrogeologist in the State of California, and a registered Geologist in Oregon and Arizona. He was elected Councilmember of the City of Monte Sereno in 2000, where he served as Mayor in 2004. He is currently in his second term. Mr. Garner was recently appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California State Mining and Geology Board. In addition, he currently serves as Chairman Commissioner for the Santa Clara Valley Water District, as Board Member for the Association of Bay Area Governments Hazardous Waste Allocation Committee, and as a Board Director for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. Mr. Garner also provides environmental consulting services for the private and public sectors.

For the past 15 years Erin has resided in Monte Sereno and is a native of Silicon Valley.
