On April 3, 2002, Terry Trumbull was appointed to the Hearing Board. Mr. Trumbull was Chair of the Planning Committee of the District's Advisory Council when he was appointed to the Hearing Board.

Mr. Trumbull is an environmental attorney for The Trumbull Law Firm in Palo Alto and is a member of the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). In addition, Mr. Trumbull teaches for the Environmental Studies Department and Mineta Transportation Institute at San Jose State University.

Since 1986, he has been Chair of the Government Affairs Committee of the Pacific Industrial Business Association (PIBA), and Endorsement Chair since 1995 of the Santa Clara County chapter of the California League of Conservation Voters. Mr. Trumbull is also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association of Santa Clara-San Benito Counties.
