ADVISORY FOR REGULATION 8, RULE 03: ARCHITECTURAL COATINGS
- On January 1, 2003, lower VOC limits for some Architectural Coatings will go into effect.

- Sell-Through: The new limits affect coatings manufactured on or after January 1, 2003. Coatings in compliance with the old VOC limits that were manufactured before January 1 may be sold until January 1, 2006. They may be used indefinitely.
- Thinning: You cannot thin or reduce coatings with organic solvent beyond manufacturer's recommendations or to exceed the VOC limit. This does not apply to water or exempt solvents.
- Close containers of any VOC materials (coatings, thinners, clean-up solvents) when not in use.
