2009 Clean Air Plan
The Air District is beginning
the process to prepare the 2009 Bay Area Clean Air Plan.
The 2009 Bay Area Clean Air
Plan will:

of the California Clean Air Act to implement “all feasible measures”
to reduce ozone
- Consider the impacts of ozone control measures on particulate matter
(PM), air toxics, and greenhouse gases in a single, integrated plan
- Review progress in improving air quality in recent years
- Establish emission control measures to be adopted or implemented in
the 2009-2012 timeframe
