On Thursday, June 27, 2002, at 7:00 pm, the staff of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District will conduct a public workshop to discuss proposed revisions to this rule. The workshop will be held in the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Chambers at the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Room 107, Martinez, CA 94553. Three major categories of changes are proposed:
This proposed rule revision is the first part of a two-part effort to reduce emissions from storage tanks. This proposal implements Control Measure SS-12 from the Bay Area 2001 Ozone Attainment Plan. Further Study FS-10 will examine additional control measures for tanks later this year. The proposed amendments to Regulation 8, Rule 5, a draft staff report, and this notice are available on the District website at www.baaqmd.gov.
