The District has issued a Preliminary Determination of Compliance for the United Golden Gate Power Plant (UGGPP) - Phase 1, a 51 megawatt (MW) simple-cycle gas turbine peaking power plant proposed at the San Francisco International Airport. This project is the first phase of the UGGPP, which will ultimately become a combined-cycle merchant power plant with an electrical generation capacity of 570 MW
