The District is conducting a 30-day Public Comment period that ends on October 3, 2003 to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and Rule 2-9 for Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Alternative Compliance Plan to use Interchangeable Emission Reduction Credits at its Hunters Point Power Plant facility to comply with the emission standards of BAAQMD Regulation 9, Rule 11. (Permit Application Number 6811). The plant is located at 1000 Evans Avenue, San Francisco. The District has completed a Draft Environmental Impact Report for this project.
