The District has issued a Preliminary Determination of Compliance (PDOC) under permit application # 15195 for a proposed new power plant, the Eastshore Energy Center, a simple cycle power plant consisting of 14 natural gas-fired reciprocating engine generator sets and associated equipment with a nominal output of 115.5 megawatts. It is proposed by Eastshore Energy Center and is to be located in Hayward, CA.
