View data from the Air District’s GHG monitoring network relating to concentrations of significant greenhouse gases as well as meteorological conditions.
The Air District’s fixed-site greenhouse gas monitoring network stations provide measurements from which a variety of data and plots are derived.
The data reported includes concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4), which are two of the most important greenhouse gases from a radiative forcing standpoint, as well as carbon monoxide (CO), which is a criteria pollutant and a combustion source tracer. A variety of meteorological data is also measured at these GHG stations. Meteorological variables reported here include Air Temperature, Relative Humidity, Wind Speed, and Wind Direction.
Additional information on how these measurements are performed, along with instrumentation, quality control, calibrations, sampling interval, citation of the data, contacts for data-related questions, etc., are found in the corresponding ReadMe files.
The Timeseries data files and plots show the reader how a measured variable varies over the course of the reporting time period at any given site. The trace gas data is reported under the Concentration Timeseries type while the meteorological variables are reported under Meteorological Timeseries type.
Diurnal data and plots depict how the variables vary over the course of a 24-hour period when averaged over the reporting period.
Intersite Comparisons report and compare the diurnal datasets for a given variable at all sites together.
Wind Rose plots depict visually the distribution of incoming wind directions and intensities (speed) during the reporting period at a given site.
