The Environmental Protection Agency requires the Air District to prepare an annual Ambient Air Monitoring Network Plan. The Plan describes the current air monitoring network of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. It lists the objectives of the monitoring sites and proposed changes to the monitoring network for the next 18 months. The proposed changes may be found in the section titled Proposed Modifications to Network in 2008. The public are invited to comment on the proposed changes through June 30, 2008. On July 1, 2008, the Plan will be submitted to the EPA Regional Office.
