Richmond-North Richmond-San Pablo Community Emissions Reduction Plan
Learn about the Path to Clean Air, the Air District’s efforts under Assembly Bill AB 617 to improve air quality in the Richmond - North Richmond - San Pablo community.
Announcement: On March 15, 2024, the Draft Final PTCA Plan was released with a memorandum summarizing the changes made to the December 13 2023 Draft Plan. All updates to the Plan are available under the Community Emissions Reduction Plan web page. The anticipated adoption of the Final Plan is scheduled for Summer of 2024. On December 13, 2023, the Air District and the Path to Clean Air (PTCA) Community Steering Committee released the Draft PTCA Community Emissions Reduction Plan. The same day, the Plan opened for public review and comment, which ended on January 19, 2024. The Air District held a public workshop on the Draft PTCA Plan on January 11, 2024. All materials and a recording of the workshop can be accessed under “Meeting, Events and Recordings” section of the Community Emissions Reduction Plan web page.
The Air District is continuing existing efforts to reduce air pollution in communities through the state of California’s Community Air Protection Program, also known as Assembly Bill 617.
