  • * The Refinery Main Flare System consists of four flares (East Air Flare, West Air Flare, Coker Flare and Emergency Flare) in a cascaded formation.
The data shown is a summary of flow and emissions from all four flares.
** Natural gas is used for both pilot and purge gas for the refinery flare system, except for the Emergency Flare which uses nitrogen as purge gas.
The pilot gas flows are based on the design gas flow from the manufacturer. The purge gas flows are based on design flows,
with the exception of the Coker flare which has flow meter to measure NG to the pilots and purges.
*** Vent Gas Flow is vent gas to air flares and DCU flare instead of sum of flare header flows
