Learn about the Air District's development process for Regulation 6, Rule 7, which is part of a set of amendments and new rules under consideration that would reduce emissions of particulate matter from various commercial and industrial operations.

The Air District will host an in-person conversation with Air District Board Chair Davina Hurt on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 12 noon – 1 PM at the Alum Rock Public Library in the Alum Rock Community Room. Beginning December 7, 2021, the Air District’s Charge! program will begin accepting applications to help offset a portion of the cost of purchasing and installing new publicly available electric vehicle charging stations throughout the region. The goal of the Charge! program is to help build a charging network able to support the Bay Area’s electric vehicle adoption goals of 90 percent of the overall vehicle fleet by 2050. 

The Air District is extending the Spare the Air Alert for ozone, or smog, through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. This is the 20th and 21st consecutive Spare the Air Alert called.

The Air District will be holding a virtual webinar on April 10 from 6 -7 PM to provide an overview of the proposed budget for fiscal year (FY) 2025-2026 and proposed fee regulation amendments.
