The Community Advisory Council (CAC) of the Air District invites written comments on amendments to the CAC Charter, the document that guides the governance of the Council.

The Air District is soliciting applications for two seats on its Community Advisory Council (CAC). There are two vacant seats, one for a member who resides or works in Alameda County and one for a representative of Bay Area youth.

Air District’s Board of Directors to form agency’s first Community Advisory Council.

The Air District, California Air Resources Board and San Francisco Department of Emergency Management announced today the launch of the state’s first Clean Air Center in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood in San Francisco. In the coming weeks, more than 300 Clean Air Centers will be available throughout the Bay Area, when air quality is poor due to wildfires.

The Air District is soliciting applications for thirteen seats on its Community Advisory Council. The thirteen open seats represent: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano counties, as well as at-large and youth seats.
