The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to EV Life, a startup working to eliminate the green premium on electric vehicles for millions of people who find the upfront cost of driving electric challenging.

The Air District is inviting residents to participate in the sixth annual California Clean Air Day on October 4. Designed around individual actions, the event is a statewide initiative built on the idea that shared experiences unite people to improve community health. 

The Air District is convening a community workgroup to inform development and implementation of our new Particle Fallout Sampling Program for refinery communities. We are looking for people who live or work near the Chevron, Marathon, MRC, Phillips 66, and Valero refineries, or who represent organizations and environmental groups that serve these communities.
