The Air District is announcing the availability of $10 million dollars to fund equipment replacement and supportive infrastructure projects for the Proposition 1B Goods Movement Program. Funds will be used to assist owners of diesel-fueled equipment that moves freight in California’s major trade corridors. Applications are due by October 28, 2021.

The Air District has relaunched its Clean Cars for All program with more than $10 million available from state and local funding sources for income-qualified Bay Area residents to purchase cleaner air vehicles.

The Air District is issuing a Health Advisory and Spare the Air Alert today, Thursday 10/12/2017. Very unhealthy air quality from the wildfires in the North Bay is causing unprecedented levels of air pollution throughout the Bay Area.

To accelerate the development of publicly accessible hydrogen re-fueling stations, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District has approved $2.2 million in funding for the completion of 12 new hydrogen fueling stations in the Bay Area.
