2024 Community Advisory Council Agendas

Beginning December 7, 2021, the Air District’s Charge! program will begin accepting applications to help offset a portion of the cost of purchasing and installing new publicly available electric vehicle charging stations throughout the region. The goal of the Charge! program is to help build a charging network able to support the Bay Area’s electric vehicle adoption goals of 90 percent of the overall vehicle fleet by 2050. 

The Air District is inviting Bay Area residents to apply for the Clean Cars for All grant program which provides up to $9,500 for low-income members of communities disproportionately affected by air pollution to retire older vehicles and replace them with a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or electric vehicle, or get a Clipper Card for public transit. 

The Air District is hosting an informational workshop about the new Community Health Protection Program on Wednesday, January 31, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at 375 Beale Street in San Francisco with staff from the California Air Resources Board and a panel of community experts. 

The Air District is soliciting applications for two seats on its Community Advisory Council (CAC). There are two vacant seats, one for a member who resides or works in Alameda County and one for a representative of Bay Area youth.
