Wood Burning Prohibited

Spare the Air Alert in effect through Friday, October 2.  Wood burning is banned.  Burn bans can occur year-round for wildfires. Wood Smoke Reduction Incentive Program

The Wood Smoke Reduction Incentive Program was developed to improve local air quality by reducing wintertime particulate matter pollution. The program has provided grant funding to help lower the cost of replacing a wood-burning heating device with cleaner options.

The Wood Smoke Reduction Incentive Program is currently closed and not accepting new applications.
