The Air District invites the public to attend a scoping meeting at the Air District’s Metro Center to provide comment on the potential environmental impacts that should be evaluated in the draft environmental impact report being prepared for the 2016 Clean Air Plan and Regional Climate Protection Strategy.

Spare the Air Status

This meeting will include a presentation on the draft control measures in the 2016 Plan, which are designed to protect public health and the global climate by reducing air pollution and greenhouse gases in the Bay Area.

After the presentation, people attending the meeting will be able to comment on the potential environmental impacts, mitigation measures and alternatives that should be evaluated in the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report being prepared for the 2016 Plan.

The environmental impact report is the next step of the planning process as required by the California Environmental Quality Act.

The scoping meeting will be held on:

Thursday, July 14, from 4:00-6:00PM.
