Flare Monitoring Data

The graphs in the documents below are based on the monthly reports that each refinery submits to the Air District. The monitoring data for each flare are subject to flare monitoring and reporting requirements.

Emissions by Pollutant

These graphs show emissions for methane, non-methane hydrocarbons, and sulfur dioxide. The emissions are calculated from direct vent gas flows, not by measuring actual emissions. The vertical axis shows the estimated tons of pollutant emissions per year.
