Learn about the Air District’s efforts to minimize odors in Milpitas and the surrounding communities.

The Air District is working with the Environmental Defense Fund, the California Air Resources Board, and UC Berkeley on a mobile air monitoring study conducted in and around Richmond, San Pablo and El Cerrito.

The Air District Board of Directors recently voted to approve funding for a comprehensive odor study in the Milpitas-area. 

The Air District has posted the Notice of Preparation and Initial Study for the draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report on the 2016 Clean Air Plan/Regional Climate Protection Strategy.

The Air District is announcing the expansion of its Clean Cars for All grant program, which offers incentives of up to $9,500 for income-qualified Bay Area residents to retire older cars and replace them with a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or electric vehicle, or to get a pre-loaded Clipper Card for public transit.
