The Air District has opened the grant application period for the People’s Air Grant Program, a funding opportunity designed to support local stakeholders working to improve air quality and public health in communities disproportionately burdened by air pollution. The Air District’s review of Permit Application 25608 (Marine Terminal Permit Revision) is on hold pending the County’s CEQA review of the Phillips 66 Rodeo Renewed Project.

The Air District has opened the application period for year 19 of the Carl Moyer grant program, which reduces ozone-forming and toxic air emissions from older, heavy-polluting diesel engines.  

The  Air District has opened the application period for the Carl Moyer grant program, to reduce ozone-forming and toxic air emissions from older heavy-polluting diesel equipment. Eligible diesel-powered equipment includes medium- and heavy-duty trucks, mobile agricultural and construction equipment, marine vessels, and locomotives.

The Air District is announcing the launch of the Charge! Program’s grant application process to access at least $10 million in grant funding to offset the cost of purchasing and installing new chargers for light-duty electric vehicles at multi-family housing facilities, destinations, transit parking locations, and workplaces across the Bay Area. This funding is available to businesses, homeowner associations, non-profits, public agencies, and tribes. Applications are being accepted now through June 6, 2025, at 5PM.
