The Bay Area Healthy Homes Initiative, or BAHHI, is a program that seeks to improve health outcomes for the Contra Costa and Alameda County residents living in the areas most impacted by traffic air pollution. The program integrates multiple services that seek to reduce participants’ exposure to air pollution and other asthma triggers while also making homes more energy efficient.

The Air Monitoring Data page provides both real-time and historical information on air quality and meteorological conditions derived from measurements at air quality monitoring stations around the Bay Area.

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is lifting the Health Advisory & Spare the Air Alert due to significantly improved air quality conditions from favorable wind patterns and increased fire containment. However, unhealthy air quality will still be present in the immediate vicinity of actively burning fires.
