The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District) is updating the policies and procedures associated with its “New Source Review” (NSR) Permitting Program. Please join us at an upcoming virtual technical webinar to learn more about the important enhancements proposed to the Air District’s “New Source Review” (NSR) permitting program. The Policies and Procedures update will cover the following topics: (1) Application Submittal Minimum Requirements, (2) Application Completeness Requirements, (3) Revisions to Applications, (4) Permit Condition Review, (5) Permit Condition Revisions after Permit Issuance. Who should attend? This technical webinar will focus on the changes to the Air District’s policies and procedures that may affect all permit applicants, but mainly impacts larger facilities such as power plants, petroleum refineries, chemical plants, manufacturing plants, wastewater treatment plants, landfills, and other large industrial facilities. The presentation will be aimed at facility environmental staff, consultants, and others who regularly work on or review Air District permit applications for facilities such as these. All interested members of the public are invited to attend.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to identify qualified organizations that the Air District may contract with to: foster community engagement and partnerships to influence behaviors at the community level; engage with environmental justice communities, low-income communities, communities with limited English proficiency, and communities of color; build and maintain coalitions of community organizations, residents, local businesses, and local governments to collectively develop and implement collaborative, local environmental protection, and/or air pollution reduction programs; and foster innovative ideas and collective action among coalition members. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.
