Wood Burning Prohibited

Spare the Air Alert in effect through Friday, October 2.  Wood burning is banned.  Burn bans can occur year-round for wildfires. Forecasting and Data Analysis

The Air District’s Meteorology and Data Analysis Section validates, compiles and interprets weather and air quality data and issues daily forecasts for air quality. They examine how emissions from certain facilities affect nearby residents and identify weather factors related to long-term air quality trends.
