Valero Refinery in Benicia notified Air District of a planned shutdown of some refinery equipment beginning 1/31. Odors and/or flaring may occur. Air District inspectors will be closely monitoring. Report air quality complaints: 800-334-ODOR or online.

The Air District is partnering with third-party evaluators to assess impacts of the James Cary Smith Community Grant Program. The Air District is particularly interested in understanding how the grant program supports communities of color and communities disproportionately burdened by air pollution, or environmental justice (EJ) communities. Evaluation findings to date are in the documents below.
