Fung Lam, MD

Fung Lam, MD practiced obstetrics and gynecology for over three decades at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He has had extensive experience in risk management, medical liability, quality assurance and has chaired many committees. After matriculating from Harvard College, he received his medical degree from Tufts University and completed an OB/GYN residency at UCSF. Dr. Lam also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and has been a subject matter expert and advisor for the FDA and NIH. He is a Clinical Professor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF and is a Primary Research Investigator at Essential Access Health in Berkeley.

Dr. Lam has received many awards and honors, most recently receiving a special recognition award for his excellence in teaching at UCSF in 2010 and 2019 and an award for his Ob/Gyn Resident Teaching in 2009. In his spare time, Dr. Lam enjoys golfing, photography, travel and spending time with his wife and three children.
