The Air District has released for public comment its latest draft Ambient Air Monitoring Network Plan, which describes the Air District’s air monitoring network for 2021, and lists proposed changes for the near future.

The Air District will host an in-person open house on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 1 – 3 PM. at the Air District’s San Francisco headquarters at 375 Beale Street. The open house will feature informal presentations and opportunities for discussion on the agency’s draft Strategic Plan, which outlines the Air District's roadmap for achieving its mission, setting priorities, and securing resources over the next five years.

The Air District has posted the Notice of Preparation and Initial Study for the draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report on the 2016 Clean Air Plan/Regional Climate Protection Strategy.

Jack Broadbent, executive officer of the Air District, has issued a statement in support of the State of California’s decision to sue the Trump Administration over their plans to roll back auto emissions standards.

The Air District is hosting a community summit on Saturday, February 16, from 10 AM–1:30 PM, at the City of Richmond Recreation Complex located at 3230 Macdonald Avenue in Richmond, to develop an air monitoring plan for the surrounding community.
