The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is lifting the Health Advisory & Spare the Air Alert due to significantly improved air quality conditions from favorable wind patterns and increased fire containment. The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to SPARKZ, a next-generation battery manufacturer re-engineering the battery supply chain in the United States. 

The Air District is issuing a Spare the Air Alert for Thursday, December 22, through Christmas Day, December 25, which bans burning wood, manufactured fire logs or any other solid fuel, both indoors and outdoors.
