The Air District is hosting a virtual Climate Tech Marketplace event, Cutting-Edge Governments: Leading Investment in the Green Revolution, on October 22 at 10 AM. The event’s keynote speaker is Mariana Mazzucato, author and economist who helped shape the Green New Deal. She will be addressing the roles the public and private sectors must take to ensure growth is more innovation-led, inclusive and sustainable. 

The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to EvGateway, an electric vehicle solutions management company focused on accelerating the adoption and use of electric vehicles by making them easier to use.

The Air District and California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank, or IBank, announced the statewide expansion of the Climate Tech Finance program.

The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to Zevvy, formerly Flux EV, an electric vehicle leasing solution with flexible lease agreements designed to save drivers in the Bay Area money on gas and maintenance costs by choosing an EV over a gas-powered vehicle. 

The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to King Solarman, a provider of smart solar generators in California. Their products replace loud and aging diesel generators used for mobile light towers and surveillance stations.

The Air District has awarded a loan guarantee to EV Life, a startup working to eliminate the green premium on electric vehicles for millions of people who find the upfront cost of driving electric challenging.

The Air District is announcing the award of a loan guarantee to UCAP Power, a provider of ultracapacitor systems that offer reliable, cost-effective high-power energy storage, to support clean energy in the region. 

The Air District and Aclima, the climate tech leader in hyperlocal pollution and greenhouse gas measurement and analysis, have released groundbreaking results collected through a cutting-edge, hyperlocal air quality mobile monitoring network.
