The Air District is extending the current air quality advisory for wildfire smoke through Monday, September 27. An air quality advisory is currently in place for Saturday, September 25. Smoke from fires in Southern and Central California is expected to continue to impact the Bay Area through Monday with smoky and hazy skies. Pollution levels are not expected to exceed federal health standards and no Spare the Air Alert is in effect. 

The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory for wildfire smoke for tomorrow, Monday, July 25. Smoke from the Oak Fire in Mariposa County is forecast to be transported into the Bay Area on Monday, however, the smoke is expected to remain aloft. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible across the Bay Area and the smell of smoke is possible at higher elevations. Pollutant levels are not expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard. A Spare the Air Alert is not in effect.

The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory for wildfire smoke for Friday, August 25. Smoke from the Smith River Complex and other fires in Northern California is expected to impact air quality throughout the Bay Area on Friday, causing air quality to reach low-moderate on the U.S. EPA’s Air Quality Index. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke is possible. Pollutant levels are NOT expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard and there is no Spare the Air Alert in effect.

The Air District is extending an air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke from the Pickett Fire through Monday, August 25. Smoke from the Pickett Fire in Napa County is expected to impact Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties through Monday. Conditions can change rapidly and the amount and location of smoke at ground level is hard to predict. The public can check for real-time smoke pollution levels in their local area with the U.S. EPA’s Fire and Smoke Map. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible, and the smell of smoke is possible.

The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory for wildfire smoke for today, Tuesday, May 31, and tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1. Smoke from the Old Fire in Napa County is expected to impact the Napa Valley. Isolated pockets of elevated air pollution levels are possible near the fire; however, pollution levels are not expected to exceed the national 24-hour standard. A Spare the Air Alert is not in effect and air quality is not expected to be unhealthy. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke may be present in the North Bay through Wednesday.
