Special Projects

The Air District may install and operate temporary air monitoring stations and/or equipment for a period of one to two years, as resources allow.

The objective of the monitoring is generally to determine downwind impacts from a source or sources, to determine if air quality measurements at the closest permanent air monitoring station are adequately representing air quality levels in the area of interest, or to provide further information on specific pollutants.
