The Air District’s Executive Officer Jack Broadbent recently announced his plans to retire after more than 18 years as head of the agency. 

The Air District has approved a $100,000 grant to the Prescott-Joseph Center for the expansion of the Breathmobile to children and families living in the cities of San Pablo and Hayward, and the neighborhood of Chinatown in Oakland.

Sources under investigation include the Richmond Chevron Refinery, West Contra Costa County Composting Facility, shipping traffic, and sewage treatment facilities.
