Planned prescribed burning on Angel Island has been canceled.
Air quality is improving, and the Air District continues to monitor smoke across the region. Crews may remain on site today to extinguish remaining hot spots, but no additional prescribed burning is planned. Today’s Spare the Air Alert is for ozone and is separate from Tuesday's smoke impacts.

$10 million available for projects to reduce air pollution from freight movement equipmentThe Air District is announcing the availability of $10 million dollars to fund equipment replacement and supportive infrastructure projects for the Proposition 1B Goods Movement Program.
