The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory for wildfire smoke for tomorrow, Friday, September 9. Smoke from wildfires in California and Oregon is expected to impact the Bay Area through Friday, but pollutant levels are not expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard. A Spare the Air Alert is not in effect on Friday. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke may be present. 

The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory for wildfire smoke through Thursday, August 31. A Spare the Air Alert is also in effect for today, Wednesday, August 30. Smoke from numerous fires in Northern California and Oregon is expected to impact air quality throughout the Bay Area through tomorrow, causing air quality to reach high-moderate on the U.S. EPA’s Air Quality Index. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke is possible. Pollutant levels are NOT expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard and there is no Spare the Air Alert in effect for Thursday.

Smoke from numerous fires in Northern California and Oregon is expected to impact air quality throughout the Bay Area, causing air quality to reach low-moderate on the U.S. EPA’s Air Quality Index. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke is possible. Pollutant levels are NOT expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard and there is no Spare the Air Alert in effect.

The Air District is extending an air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke from wildfires in the western U.S. and Canada through Sunday, August 11. Local pollution and residual smoke from fires in the western U.S. and Canada continues to impact air quality in the Bay Area, causing hazy and smoky skies. Air quality is expected to be Good to Moderate on the Air Quality Index.

The Air District is extending an air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke from wildfires in the western U.S. and Canada through Saturday, August 10. An inversion layer combined with local pollution and residual smoke from fires in the western U.S. and Canada continues to impact air quality in the Bay Area, causing hazy and smoky skies. Air quality is expected to be Good to Moderate on the Air Quality Index.

Smoke from numerous fires in Northern California and Oregon is expected to impact air quality throughout the Bay Area, causing air quality to reach low-moderate on the U.S. EPA’s Air Quality Index. Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke is possible. Pollutant levels are NOT expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard and there is no Spare the Air Alert in effect.

Smoky, hazy skies may be visible and the smell of smoke is possible. Pollutant levels are NOT expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard and there is no Spare the Air Alert in effect.

The Air District is upgrading the air quality advisory that was in place to Spare the Air Alerts due to heat and wildfire smoke today, Friday, August 27, and tomorrow, Saturday, August 28. The burning of wood, manufactured fire logs or any other solid fuel, both indoors and outdoors is prohibited.
