Prescribed Burn Planned for Angel Island
The Air District is working closely with CAL FIRE + California State Parks on a prescribed burn planned for Angel Island mid-week to ensure ground-level smoke impacts are minimized as much as possible. Agencies will closely monitor conditions throughout the burn and will cease operations if conditions change or are no longer suitable.

Danny Cullenward
Danny Cullenward
Danny Cullenward is a climate economist and lawyer focused on the design and implementation of scientifically grounded climate policy. He has over 15 years of experience in the research and nonprofit sectors, working across a range of state, national, and international energy and climate policies. Dr. Cullenward has published widely in the academic literature and is the co-author of Making Climate Policy Work. He holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a PhD in Environment and Resources from Stanford University. For more information, please see https://ghgpolicy.org.
