The Air District has opened the grant application period for the People’s Air Grant Program, a funding opportunity designed to support local stakeholders working to improve air quality and public health in communities disproportionately burdened by air pollution. The grant application period opens March 12 and will remain open through May 29, 2026.

The Air District and Communities for a Better Environment co-led a process with a Community Steering Committee to create the plan.
