The Air District is issuing an air quality advisory due to wildfire smoke from wildfires in the Pacific Northwest for Tuesday, August 4, and Wednesday, August 5.
Today, the Air District is lifting the Spare the Air Alert for Saturday, August 1, due to significantly improved air quality conditions from favorable wind patterns and increased fire containment. However, unhealthy air quality will still be present in the immediate vicinity of any actively burning fires.
