Bay Area Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) Ready

Plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) are an emerging technology with tremendous potential to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gases.

The Air District’s Bay Area Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PEV) Ready program is working to assist drivers, local governments and infrastructure providers to successfully prepare the region for the arrival of PEVs.
