The Air District developed revisions to its permitting programs through amendments to Regulation 2, Rule 6: Permits - Major Facility Review. The amendments to this rule were developed and adopted along with other changes to the permits regulation. Amendments to Rule 2-6, along with amendments to Rule 2-1, Rule 2-2, and Rule 2-4, made significant changes to the New Source Review pre-construction permit program and the Title V Major Facility Review operating permit program.
