Air Quality Advisory
Smoke from the Marina Fire is expected to impact air quality in the East Bay on Sunday and Monday. Residents in affected areas should stay alert to news coverage and health warnings related to smoke. Check air quality at fire.airnow.gov and take steps to protect your health from smoke. Learn how at www.baaqmd.gov/wildfiresafety. Pollution levels are not expected to exceed the national 24-hour health standard. A Spare the Air Alert is not in effect.

Valero Refinery in Benicia notified the Air District of ongoing flaring due to a planned shutdown of refinery equipment. Air District inspectors will be closely monitoring. Report air quality complaints: 800-334-ODOR or online.

Year 5/6 Goods Movement TRU Program – Preliminary Rank List
Year 5/6 TRU Program funds opened in 2025. The year 5/6 TRU preliminary rank list is posted below.

Equipment shown on the preliminary rank list has met basic eligibility criteria for the program. However, appearance on the rank list does not guarantee that equipment will receive program funding; applicants must complete further steps in order to receive funding.
Regulatory compliance - Program eligibility assumes that a truck and the fleet are already compliant at the time the owner applies for a grant. If staff notify applicants that their projects cannot be funded due to regulatory non-compliance, owners must work with CARB TRUCRS staff to correct fleet reporting problems. If compliance issues cannot be resolved with CARB, the fleet is not eligible for YR5/6 Goods Movement Program funding.
