The Air District will host a signing ceremony for mayors, city and county government officials, and leaders of industry and business from all over the world who commit to going diesel free by signing the Statement of Purpose to cut diesel use to zero by 2033.

The Bay Area Bike Share program offered discount passes, free urban bicycling classes, and more to encourage Bay Area residents to get cycling during Bay Area Bike Share Month in May.

The annual Youth for Environment and Sustainability, or YES, Conference, co-sponsored by the Air District, returns to the Bay Area on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  It will be held at Laney College, 900 Fallon Street in Oakland from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. The free day-long regional conference will bring together middle and high school students from the nine Bay Area counties to discuss topics ranging from climate change and public health to transportation and air pollution.
