Due to active wildfires and changing wind patterns, air quality throughout the Bay Area could be impacted for many days to come.

The joint investigation has ruled out any sources on San Francisco Bay, including ships or oil spills on the water, and now centers on Chevron’s Richmond refinery and other potential sources in Richmond, such as the waste water treatment plant, waste management facility, and other industrial sources.
