The Air District has posted the Notice of Preparation and Initial Study for the draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report on the 2016 Clean Air Plan/Regional Climate Protection Strategy.

Spare the Air Status

The Air District wants to hear your thoughts about what potential environmental impacts of the 2016 Plan we should consider as we prepare the draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Report. The environmental impact report is the next step of the planning process as required by the California Environmental Quality Act.

The 2016 Plan contains measures for protecting public heath by reducing ozone, greenhouse gases, particulate matter, and toxic air contaminants in the nine-county San Francisco Bay Area air basin.

We welcome your comments through Open Air Forum by July 18. For more information contact Josh Pollak at
