The Air District announced that Phillips 66 Company has agreed to pay $99,400 to to settle a group of 13 Notices of Violation issued for air quality violations that occurred at its Rodeo refinery in 2015.
Spare the Air Status
The Notices of Violation addressed in the settlement include:
- brief violations of emission limits as measured by monitors on refinery equipment
- venting of odorous gases that did not result in a public nuisance
- a failed accuracy test of a continuous emission monitoring system
- Leak Detection and Repair program violations, or minor administrative violations
All the violations that led to this settlement have been corrected.
