The Air District's Board of Directors considers each proposed rule or amendment at a public hearing, during which anyone can comment. At the end of the hearing, the board decides whether to adopt the proposed action.

As of June 1, 2017, information about rule development public hearings will be found on individual web pages devoted to specific rules under development. These will be indexed and linked from a table in the Rules Under Development page.
This Public Hearings page is currently being maintained as an archive of historical information for hearings held prior to June 2017.
